ABOUT ME
Many find that receiving care feels foreign and uncomfortable - an unfortunate by-product of our societies status quo. It has never been clearer to me that that mentality needs to change. My purpose in this life is deeply rooted in supporting others. Offering nourishment to my community and clients is the grounding thread that continues to guide both my personal and professional journey.
My academic path grew out of a desire to better understand how nutrition—and the systems that shape access to it—affect our lives and communities. I earned my BS in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2018, completed a year-long course in Human Lactation at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, and in 2021, finished my Master’s in Nutrition with a focus on the connection between iron deficiency and postpartum depression. In addition to my academic adventures, I am a certified Postpartum Doula (DONA). I have spent the last several years providing overnight support for new parents, as well as witnessing the life-changing moments of birth.
Today, I bring that blend of knowledge and lived experience to my work. I support families through personalized meal prep services and as a nutritionist with WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), a program dedicated to improving nutrition access for families in our community.
